After my grandfather was left partially paralysed in a hit-and-run, I moved in with my grandparents to help care for him. I also supported my grandmother in caring for my aunt, who has severe Down syndrome. These experiences gave me deep compassion, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. I’m 21, originally from South Africa, and currently in Germany. I hold a Greek passport (EU citizen), and I plan to study nursing next year.
